What kind of deck? I once played against a guy that used cards that deliberately lowered his own lifepoints to below 1000, used a card which switched our lifepoints and used heavey storm to destroy black pendants and fuhma shuriken (I think...) which caused effect damage when destroyed in order to finish the opponent off. I still won though :P

Well I have my Undefeated Deck "Slayer of the Dark Sun", wich earned me the local title of "Dark Sun Duelist" (guess where my username's from?? Cmon, guess, i dare you!!)...
This deck hasn't been modified in the 4 years since I made it, and it's still undefeated...Unfourtunatly it's illegal (in tournaments) due to the trump card...wich I bet nobody will guess...(If you want to try, PM me)

No, I don't think so... if you have no cards left, you lose, but it's okay (while not advisable) to have no Monsters.

While I don't have enough money to buy a bunch of cards, I have made a deck on my Game Boy. It's a Heal & Hurt deck. I bar my opponents from attacking with Wall of Revealing Light and/or Gravity Bind, bring out Fire Princess onto the field, then use a bunch of constant healing effects, like Solemn Wishes, Marie the Fallen One, White Magician Pikeru, Cure Mermaid, Kiseitai, I could go on. And whenever I heal, Fire Princess takes off 500 of the opponent's life points. If I can set it up correctly, I can take off 2000 LP in one turn. And that is sweet.

I have a deck on my gameboy too. (yay for old games!) It's mostly a bunch of female monsters like Red Archery Girl and Dark Magician Girl and powerups that work with them like Electro Whip. It actully works pretty well.

I like to call my deck the Your Pain is My Gain deck. Basically revolves around anything that will up my life points and anything that will knock yours down. Best card for doing that... Guardian Angel Joan (Not St. Joan the fusion). I must admit though, it's still mixing. Not quite ready to come out of the oven and onto the tournament tables yet.

Here's my new deck I just made. There's a fair few kinks in it still, I'm sure. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
Ptera Cannon Fodder Deck (40) Monsters (25): Black Ptera x3 Mysterious Puppeteer x2 Cannon Soldier x2 Fire Princess x1 Mystic Tomato x2 Flying Kamakiri x2 Sangan x1 Spirit Reaper x1 Spear Cretin x3 Poison Draw Frog x2 A Cat of Ill Omen x1 Thunder Dragon x3 Mask of Darkness x1 Traps (8) Jar of Greed x1 Ultimate Offering x1 Solemn Judgement x3 Horn of Heaven x3 Spells (8) Swords of Revealing Light x1 Scapegoat x1 Wave Motion Cannon x1 Level Limit - Area B x1 Magical Mallet x2 A Feather of the Phoenix x2 This deck is based on Cannon Soldiers, Black Ptera and Ultimate offering. Black Ptera returns to my hand when I tribute it with Cannon Soldier, I can summon it again with ultimate offering andrepeat the process. As long as I have more than 500 lifepoints more than them when I start the process I win. I've also included mysterious puppeteers for this combo so that even if I have less lifepoints I can still win as puppeteer's effect means I gain 500 LP when I summon after paying 500 to summon. If I have Fire Princess on the field when I summon the opponant takes 500 damage because of Mysterious Puppeteer's effect. The Flying kamakiri make it easier to find Pteras, just as Mystic Tomato helps me to find my Soldiers. I can tribute my Poison Draw frogs to deal 500 plus I get to draw a card and of course I have spear cretins to stall for my better cards. Thunder Dragons are the classic deck strip but I can also use them to make the best of cards like Magical Mallet and A Feather of the Phoenix. Whatcha all think?

I haven't worked on collecting any new cards, so my strongest deck is a generic dragon thinger. However, I do have three BEWDs, and (courtesy of Shonen Jump) everyone's favourite three-headed dragon.
However, despite the space all the equip magic cards take up, I think my favourite card is Maha Vailo. <3

I have a deck that is almost entirely composed of Labyrinth of Nightmare cards. (I think I had all but 4 cards in the end- masked beast, torrential tribute, card of safe return and royal command... oh God how much money did I spend on LoN? ;-;)
The cards that make me joyful are; Dark Necrofear, Destiny Board, magic cylinder, the masks... the only cards I don't have from LoN are the usual... swords of revealing light, Summoned Skull, trap holes (my friend hates me for having two ^^; ) and change of heart.

I have 3:
1. My main deck(a beatdwon and stall deck) 2. Similer deck to my main deck 3. Six Samurai warrior deck(still in construction) My main deck uses beatdown L4 monsters (Luster Dragon, Mad dog of Darkness and Harpie's Brother) with some Stong defense monster (Aqua Madoor, Gear Golem tmf and Battle footballer) and useful (usually flip) weaklings (Koriboh, Man Eater). With only 3 tribute monsters. Chaos Necromancer is my main man. My secend deck is the same as above however It has monsters I just replaced from my main deck and forbidden cards. Also have my 3 Blue eyes in it too, not much support. I duel myself with this deck sometimes when I get bored. My Six Samurai deck like my 2nd deck, has forbidden cards. My deck has the six samurais and some warrior type monsters in it with some support cards. However, I do need more Samurai cards, cause all I have is some copies of them and the field spell. (no shien and grandmaster,etc.) I'll post my main deck soon.

Yo yellow pages, it seems you only have 38 cards in yuor deck, what's up with that? If you count, there's 24 monsters and 6 spells instead of 25 monsters and 8 spells. Which would add up to 41 cards.
And does everyone try their hardest to only make a 40 card deck?

Fixed. There's meant to be 2 feathers and 2 magical mallets. It's best to have as close to the minimum as possible because you want to have the best cards in your hand quicker. The more cards you have in your deck the less likely you are to draw what you need.

I count 83 cards o_o Seriously... no deck should have that many. Take out Reckless Greed and Jar of Greed. There's no need for that. They're only useful in a 40 card deck. I think Magical Cylinder is limited now so you can only have one, even in traditional format. Winged Kuriboh is just a one turn fix so take that out. On the turn you draw it you could have drown something useful. Book of tayou is pretty much pointless in this deck too. In advanced format, dark hole and magician of faith are banned and personally I think banned cards are less fun to play with.

There's no problem with that. A lot of decks work better if they have a lot of cards in them but for the most part it's best to use a small as possible deck an also use deck thinning strategies, especially for burn decks.

That's for sure, like that deck above us....wowzers, so mayn pointless cards, at least for that deck anyway.
The scariest thing I've ever faces was a mentally challenged kid (I know I know) but he had like 100 cards in his "deck", I dueled him because he wanted me too and he didn't know most of the rules, so I taught him as we went and he totally almost beat my ass, 100 cards and a lot of them were cards to get other cards out, just freaking crazy the hand he had each turn with that. I'd totally put up what' s in my deck, but it's at my house and I haven't been in my house for 2 months....so I can't right now.
