This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I run a dragon deck.. anyone know some other good cards I could add, or some way I can strenghten my strategy?

Mhhm.... also, list your deck, and it's theme here if ya want. :D

Basically, I run a dragon deck. It was pretty sloppy at first, but I was like, "screw the Blue-Eyes, I have Tyrant". I sort of merged some strategies that other dragon users play to create mine

((edited))

Dragon Deck Structure: 48 Cards

Monsters: 22
1 Tyrant Dragon
3 Cyber Dragon
3 Masked Dragon
3 Troop Dragon
3 Spear Dragon
1 Twin-Headed Behemoth
3 Infernal Dragon
3 Exploder Dragon
2 Luster Dragon

Spells: 15
1 Future Fusion
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Smashing Ground
3 Dragon's Mirror
3 Stamping Destruction
1 Brain Control
1 Swords of Revealing Light
1 Premature Burial
1 Re-Fusion

Traps: 11
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute
2 Sakuretsu Armor
1 Reckless Greed
1 Magic Cylinder
1 Blast Held by a Tribute
1 Magic Jammer
1 Dragon’s Rage
1 Threatening Roar

Fusion: 3
3 Five-Headed Dragon

Show me your deck! I love to see different stategies.

Added:
Basically I run Dragon's Mirror, which allows me to remove the fusion material required to bring out 5-headed dragon. 5-headed dragon requires ANY 5 dragon types. Once 5-headed is brought to the feild, it'll be pretty hard to get rid of. There isn't a big situation with defense, either, becuase my troop dragons and masked dragons are there to guard my LP. And whenever there's a situation where I don't have any monsters present, I use Cyber Dragon. Plus, Tyrant Dragon to back me up, (who attacks twice if there's more than one monster on opponent's feild). It's not hard to get the sacrifice monster on the feild, since I almost always have a troop or masked to back me up.

It is! I haven't played in a loong time, though. I only reccently got back into it, because I didn't realize how many people still played it (I thought it died, mostly because of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" and whatnot).

But I'm stuck on it again. It's entertaining to duel people. *nods*

Few things:
1. Confiscation and Ring of Distruction is Banned. Smashing is limited to 1.
2. If you want 5 headed dragon that badly, use Future Fusion, then use Dragon's mirror to bring him out that turn. Hoping to get 5 dragons in the graveyard like that isnt going to work very well.
3. You have Waaaaay too many cards. and some arent needed at all(example:lose United scince you cant really swarm)

Ah, I haven't checked the banlist in quite a while.
I actually do have future fusion in my deck... I didn't put it up. I'll edit my list and fix my deck, then. Thanks for the info!

Yeah...... its best to keep decks at the minimum(40), and only going over if really necessary. Scince its better to thin the deck out to get what you need when you need it.

60 is overkill 0_o

Blue Eyes
Dark Magician
1st edition kuriboh
1st edition Blue Eyes Toon
1st edition Monster Reborn
1st edition Thousand Dragon
and a few Elemental Heroes from Shonen jump

(Before I edited it, it was 50 cards)

I don't think any amount is too much, as long as the deck has a winning strategy.

Ah, collecting is rather fun, too. I stopped playing a while back, but whenever I saw an interesting card, I always go my hands on it. :D (I love the Shonen Jump Blue-Eyes).

I ish so into it now, again. It's mainly because of abridged! Got me back into the whole Yu-Gi-Oh concept. XD

You have too many traps...

Remove:

2 Sakaretsu
1 Magic Cylinder
1 Blast Held By a Tribute
1 Dragon's Rage
1 Reckless Greed

Also remove Tyrant Dragon... It's not very useful at all in this deck.

Replace magic jammer with magic drain. You need to keep your hand advantage as much as possible.
Replace Re-Fusion and 2 Destruction with 3 Lightning Vortex.
Replace Brain Control with Giant Trunade.

Add 3 Cyber End Dragons and Cyber Twin Dragons for another monster to summon with future fusion. Adding more to your fusion deck is very unlikely to result in less advantage (it's possible, but not likely) and there's no harm in adding fusion monsters for luls

Do that and I think you're down to a much more respectable 41 cards and a much more stable deck. Also, I don't really like this deck... I like dragon decks to have lots of normal dragons for heart of the underdog abuse, easy cost for cards like lightning vortex and once they're in the grave through cost they can be much more effectively used for Dragons Mirror after you've destroyed the field for a clear attack.

Flute is kind of unrealistic to have in a deck. It's a forur card combo required; (Lord of D, flute, and two dragons) which is unlikley to be all drawn at the same time if shuffled. :/

Thanks, yellowpages. That's a much better strategy than my current. XD But... just don't have the time to buy new cards, so I work with what I have. I'll try to get Cyber End Dragon, though. I really don't know a lot about the newer cards.

It's really good if you're trying to unlock the level 5 and 6 duelists as you really don't have to think up a new strategy for each of the theme and challenge duels. Most are stuff like the only monsters you are allowed is Fiends or Light monsters but as you have no monsters there's no problem with the deck It really suffers a lot though because Field Barrier isn't included in this game. Field barrier makes this deck unbeatable unless against a burn deck.

Yell yeah. In yugioh, monsters are not the most important part. Neither are lifepoints. All that matters is hand advantage and field pressence.

AxeEffect, this deck will easily PWN yours. Why use inferno tempist? o_o Nobody uses monsters with 3000 attack and, believe me, your deck needs to have monsters. Rope of Life sucks too. You can't activate it without getting rid of your whole hand and you also cannot activate it without having at least one card in your hand, so if you were planning on using up every card in your hand in order to make it so there's no cost, you can't.

my simple strategy against myself (nobody i know plays YGO anymore, so im stuck with splitting my deck and playing against myself)

use gravity bind, stopping all monsters lvl 4 or more from attacking, then using as many of my direct-hit monsters i can, and wittling away LP

:D:D

don't have a special deck though, anyone want to buy blue eyes shining dragon?

True. That's a very interesting strategy, though. I've never seen anyone run a deck with no monsters in it, but I can see this deck strking duelists by surprise. XD

AxeEffect, you should really try reducing your deck. There's a lot of cards in there that you really don't need.

Whewt, well, I'm off to the card shop now. I went last week, and I hadn't been there in years, I was so shocked to see the amount of people that still play YGO! o3o

(Gahh, and Yellowpages, your avi got me singing the Freakazoid theme song. That show was the best... why was it candelled? D':)

It was cancelled because the owner of WB had a bit of a falling out with Sephen Speilberg and instead of continuing to create awsomeness like proffessionals, the WB bastard decided to cut all Speilberg animations like Animaniacs, Freakazoid and Pinky and the Brain and keep the copyrights so speilberg couldn't create any more of them

I run a basic stall/burn deck. I'm happy Magician Of Faith is back but Breaker returning and Ring gone has weakened my deck a bit.

Why maindeck a Pulling the Rug? Not all opponents use monarchs and breaker (although it's very likely...)
