I lke Final Fantasy ive been playing FFXII but since i got WWE Smackdown vs raw 08 today i will have some trouble finding time to play it <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley4.png'> . But still a good game. Probably go back to it after finishing smackdown vs raw.

I do,FF9 is my favorite game I've also played 3,5,8,10,12 and I still think 9 is the best one. <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley2.png'>

FFIX, gameplay wise sucks ass, worst gameplay set up in FF, however the story and artwork is my favorite of the series so far, and the characters are way more interesting than most others.
FFVII is my favorite just because it was the game that was emo before emo was emo, and Vincent is in it and it has my favorite equipment system. FFVIII I hate, worst equipment system in it, all characters are human which I don't like, and the battle system is annoying at times, however it has my favorite summoning system, Guardian Force is the bestest so far. FFVI is probably the best IMO, for all the same generic reasons given by others FF1-3 is just okay FFIV is right behind VI FFV never played, someone stole it from me FFX is great in general, but it didn't have any single great aspect to it, that beat another one, except Lulu's boobs. FFXI, ugh..... FFXII is in all actuality the best FF game, best system, best story, Chaos Legion summoning system. etc..... howver I personally don't like it, didn't find most characters interesting except Fran, hmmmmmm........Fran............../drool.

I've pretty much only played them since FFVII and tried playing some of the older ones but keep getting distracted from them.
VII probably tops my list just because it was the first one I played. X probably comes second because I really like all the characters and if you play the international version the dark aeon side quests are insanse. IX I really loved the style of because it's much more fantasy style than the rest. XII I'm putting next, but only because I never got round to giving it the time it deserves and consequently never really warmed to the new battle system. VIII is probably my least favourite for reasons I'm unsure of myself.

VII-first ff i played and the best imo. Great Story, great characters, great.....everything
XII-Great Story and fun gameplay but the characters are horrible....except Basch....and Fran >_> IX-Didnt liked the story that much, but it was well designed X-i didnt liked it...at all.....except Lulu >_>

My favorite GBA game was FFI & II Dawn Of Souls
Pure old school goodness but without that bad of graphics, sound, and frustrating gameplay (swinging sword at dead enemy). Just noting that the oldies were good too, and paved the way for virtually all RPGs.

I have, but I prefer having warning before my party is completely wiped out in one attack...though it can be kinda funny when you thought they were strong and they just pathetically cast magic and swing weapons to no avail just before being decimated. LOL.

I resently bought FFIII for the DS. While it's a good game I find it hard... very hard... or maybe I just suck at it... nah, it's hard. XD
Anyways, my all time favourite Final Fantasy is FFIX. I don't know why it enjoys the reputation of the worst one. But meh, people are entitled to their opinion. My second favourite would be FFIV. Then... hmm... the original I guess. The only two that I haven't played (in the main branch) are FFV and FFXI, and it looks unlikly that I'll ever be able to play FFXI.

The Best Final fantasy game has to be Final fantasy Tactics :-D (no not the advanced version either) :-D. The only thing good about Final fantasy tactics advance is it is better then Final fantasy 12 with plot and battle system, but thats not hard to do :)
FF11 can actually be okay to play, I just found it to be too expensive and time consuming. Its one of those games that sucks you in and steals your life if your not carfull... but still good in its own right. 12 was okay spare the battle system, which ruined the game. I think maybe to much hype and the fact it wasnt turned based killed the game, because there was protental for a good game there :) And I seem to like the other FF games... but then again im a fan of turned based battle :) FF tactics >ff10 > ff8 > 10-2 > FF7> FF4> FF2 > FF1> FF3 >FF5 >FF9 > FF Tactics advance >FF12 anyway this is just what i think :) Id like to try the DS version though of Final fantasy III , it would be interesting to see the 4 onion kids with personalitys :)

I reckon that FFVII is pretty good as it has a very good storyline. Also the characters are very well done and the fight against safer Sephiroth was pretty good. One Winged Angel is a pretty good theme

What? FF12 STILL had turnbased battle system, just now you can walk while it's not your turn to attack.
And for anyone who says 10-2 is better than any FF game side from the first 3 is a sad, sad person. ANd FFIII for DS, they still have no personality

I just played 10-2 as a contueation with a job system :)
what can I say I just prefere it when the battles where better when you had time to think about it and more traditional menus.. :) but thats my opinion :) Im not a "Sad person" for having a right to my own opinions :) ) edit: The reasons I like 10-2 over 12 is... 1) the battle system was better 2) the skills system was better 3) the characters and story in 10-2 where actually fun and seemed to have spirit not just be names 4) I would not mind mind FF12 (or FF spirirt within) If they didnt try to ride the Final Fantasy name. The movie was lame and had nothing to do with final fantasy. And Final fantasy 12 is just a contiuation of final fantasy tactics and Vigrant story... both good games but the kept seperate because of the battle systems... I would like 12 if it would stand on its own two feet rather then have to use a series which it dosnt share a battle system with as a crutch.... People will hate me for this but here I go... BLUE DRAGON IS MORE FINAL FANTASY THEN FINAL FANTASY 12.. :) again its no offence its just my view im expresing :-) (yes you may throw stones at me now)

Even though it was just an Ivalice spin off..
It had simularitys but then again so did tactics. After the long wait and all the delays It did not deserve to be a numbered final fantasy. If the delays had not been so long and it had been decent like the others then I would rate it above the others... but in my world view it was just as insulting to the numbered series, as FF tactics advanced was to the Ivalice series. Serosly the game lacked characters, a strong story and was more a forced ivalice cross over then part of the actual series. (I know FF10-2 was not offically part of the numbered series but it was stil better for battle and skills system, characters, story and feeling like a spirited and fun game) :) Edit: Dont get me wrong I tried to love it, But I felt ff12 was just a rape of the Final fantasy name and moved onto other RPGs. I did try to learn to like or even respect it, but its hard when the characters , story and battle stystem are as classy or decent and OJ simpson is innocent.

We are beginning to find that Final Fantasy is too hard for us--we have only completed Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (we also own VII and XII, and are plugging away at the latter). But the emo plot twists in VII were phenomenal, so we enjoyed it. We had to watch a video of the end, because right now [ we are going down the North Cave, and this ****ing!dragon keeps casting Ultima and KOing our party before we can run away, and it's super-annoying and we don't have time to train ourselves to become strong enough to get through. >:( We watched a Youtube video of the final moments. Also, someone spoiled Aerith's death for us, which was... Evil. :( We'd spent all that time making Cloud cozy with Aerith. ]
FFXII sucks, as far as plot goes. Lots of heady political stuff going on. We don't get it, but we've talked to other people and they generally agree that it was all over the place, so maybe we're not stupid. We enjoyed the battle system; it really made things flow better. We hated how fields suddenly shift over to an inconsistent screen in the other FF games, and here we can hit the menu if we want to take a breather. Animation = hawt. Balthier = hawt. Fran's accent = hawt, and that's coming from a heterosexual female. Also, we are not quite done with this, because we suck at training and [ we just figured out how to open the Gigas Gate. D'oh. Why did that take so long? ]

FFVII is very good, especially characters
FFVIII is also very good, but the story line of FFVII is better, characters are equal FFXI Never played FFX Very good story line, though only Auron and Lulu is well-made characters FFX-2 Nah, didn't like it FFXII Very good, story line and game play, but only Balthier and Fran are good characters Conclusion FFVII is the best FF game made so far!

A lot of people say that, but's that's all hogwash, FFXII was a great game, I agree for Spirits Within, it didn't have anything to do with FF except a dude named Cid. But FFXII kept true to a lot of the basics for FF and just "advanced" on it, It is a great game and a great FF game, the major hit is that none of the characters are noteworthy and instead of a cheesy love story they made it politically heavy, which isn't a bad thing just very different than we're used too, and the battle system for FFXII is the same as the numbered series except you can move wihle waiting, and it's setting is more FFVI than tactics although a lot of things resembled it.
As a game player FFXII is a great game in general with an amazing story and gameplay where strategy plays a little more into it and keeps up with RPG's. As a FF fan, this game was a letdown with bad characters and and no actuall Bahamut (in Dragon form) with no love story, the no love story isn't a bad thing but the love helps keep the game flowing. But not because of the basics was this game a letdown. It has the right to go with the numbered series, as it's great. But it does feel more like filler to lead up to XIII and PS, it was a made a fact of life in 2005, that anyone who feels Final Fantasy X-2 is a good game, or better than any other FF game other than 1-3, is deemed a Sad and Pathetic Person. God made it so and made a secret Commandment about it.

Every diety my man, all of them, and it was set in 2005 so the history texts of all the formats don't have anything about it in there/ Religion is just like everything else, easy to throw into anything else for comical reasons, and so I plan to do so, like I would the Twin Towers and Crocodile Hunter. And it didn't back anything up either.
And no, you see, you liking something over something else is fine, but it being better is not the case, You loving something sand it being good are two different tihngs. I love Toshindan Battle Arena, that game and anime is terrible, I don't like Halo, but it is in fact a great action shooter. To grade something you have to leave your strong feelings about it out, as with 10-2 and 12 12 is one of the best games, gamewise, but I don't really like it, 10-2 is actually a fluid battle system, but everything else about it is bad from the new characters and new attitudes of previous ones, to the music and story, just overdone and old. And I don't personally like it.

You not likeing a game or liking one is cool man. :) I just get wound up when people use a faith to push a point, I didnt mean to snap :) But some people out their actually use that logic to justify hating things or commiting crimes. :)
But I would have to say at the same time that anyone who dislikes FFtactics and thinks advanced is better has no soul.. so i get partally waht you mean :) ... and wait... Evil force (ps1) come to think of it was crap.. but no one else would see what was good about it.. I just loved beating up enimys with a character who was a Japnses school girl possessed by a ghost and who had a rapier lol
