It's true. I've known for ages based on various rumours and connections. 1, there is Johto data in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. 2, a white rock in Kanto is mentioned during the Shamyin event, but this white rock is absent from FRLG. 3, the DSi. The DSi kills off the ability to use Pal Park. 4, trademarked names. 5, cos the timing is just perfect. There were varios GSC trademarks Nintendo had.
I'm going to get these when they're released here. I lost Gold to a battery failure a long time ago (and fobbed it off to my younger sister as a result), and Silver died a couple of years back too.

Also the 12th movie is "randomly" featuring the Johto starters, which has been known for a while
I can't wait, my Silver's batter died about 2 years ago. Johto had the best music, I can't wait to hear the remixes of Route 27 and the Kanto Gym battle theme

Yes it still works ^w^ and I love my clones...idk why but I named them DBZ characters...there's Goku, Vegeta...the rest of them XD...I wish I could get my pokemon from silver and send them to diamond.
wait are the knew games only going to be for the DSI?

let's see... they would have to put the move tutor in Kanto... or wherever they'll send you after the elite four so Piloswine and Yanma wouldn't learn Ancientpower and Aipom must also be kept at a high enough level not to learn double hit. Other than that, they're already masters of making items unavailable.

XD This is EPIC! I love Pokemon! I never actually owned one of the games but I borrowed Gold off my (now ex-)boyfriend last year. Cyndaquil ftw! XD I always call mine Punky.
Does anyone think they're remake Crystal? Suicune was my favourite legendary dog <3

I doubt it - they never remade either Blue or Yellow (although they did not need to with Blue since it was basically Green renamed), but it would be cool.
I always started with Totodile, but always focused on it, neglecting the others (save perhaps the red Gyarados and Ho-Oh/Lugia). I think Generation 3 made me play properly.
