I for one can't wait for the release of the 3DS All of the games they have set up for it such as

Nintendogs + Cats
Ace Attourney V.S. Professor Layton
Street Fighter IV
Metal Gear 3
Ocarina of time 3d
Megaman legends 3
downloadable Gameboy games
and many other great games :)

I'm guessing it'll be over $200 maybe even over $250? I mean the DSiXL was $200 and that was a freakin remake....

But I really can't wait for this, the game lineup is so sweet. :)

In other news, my interest in the 3DS has slowly been dwindling. I mean, it looks interesting however, I agree that I wouldn't play the many games that are released.
That's not really the systems fault though, HandHeld games don't exactly seem that good to me, and that touchscreen should be an addition to a SECOND Analog stick rather than just a replacement (The 3DS's design looks as though a regular DS had a child with the PSP rather than something new. I'm not saying it isn't a sexy console, it merely has a... safe design with previously tested ideas (People like 3D, people like graphics, people like TouchScreen, people like Analog sticks))

The nintendo game line-up has been getting weaker as of late. I mean the DS only has a handfull of actuall hit-games.

final fantasy a-2 sike

Well I know for a fact that the DS had games from all of the series in bold. In addition, saying that the DS had a weak lineup is a heavily subjective statement depending on your tastes. I could come up with several games on the DS that I thought were spectacular.

Anyway, in regards to purchasing a 3DS I'm sort of torn. Without a better idea of when the bigger-name games are coming out I find it hard to put aside $250 to get it any time soon, as the launch lineup doesn't impress me. There's also the limited supply problem, which means that not getting it at launch pretty much dooms people to waiting several months to even have a shot, and on the other side there's the likelihood of new versions of it in two years or so.

Yea There are a couple games that I would love to play( Megaman Legends 3! About time!) but there are no release dates for those games. I am going to wait until I hear more news before I start saving up my pennies.

$300? It's $350 here in Australia. I've come to expect this kind of marketing villainy from big-name companies by now, but it's frigging ridiculous. I'm waiting a few months to a year before getting mine.
