thank god i killed you first.

¬_¬ what does that have to do with anything?
Killing me first was a really bad decision... I was a random townie... and there was no basis for killing me... you just made a tactically bad decision... You'd have been better off accusing someone else... you just made L look bad... |

From a spectator's point of view, and looking over the posts made throughout the turns, I'd have to agree with KawaitaSakebi and Insane85:
I nominate Sajeev50 and MrsSallyBakura to the Hall of Fame Their efforts to form a new L-Squad power-base (throughout the whole round) when, clearly, the original one was broken should be rewarded because they succeeded at it. |

To be perfectly honest Holy is right about this.... mostly. That round was absurdly pathetic. The first crowbar it took to the face was when I had my real life to deal with and completely shut down and handed over the leadership to gemini. After the first turn ended I still wasn't completely over it and decided to reveal publicly what I knew about the L-Squad's allies based upon what gemini had told me. That's when I got most of the town.... that was ever actually active, on my side. I think there were 8-9 people who never even voted or anything including a couple of people with roles I believe. The L-Squad could have ended it early had they listened to what people were telling them but they didn't.
I will have to admit, Holy did do a rather accurate portrayal of Yagami Light *at least until he shot it in the face with a 9 mm* in that he put himself on full view instead of doing the logical course of action of hiding in the shadows. So anyways, I agree with whatever HoF/HoS have been put up so far with the exception of some of the more far out nominations by Holy and NSW. I personally don't think I deserve any nomination unless it's a HoS for "Unholy Presence" - Breaking the game simply by having a position of power. |

New topic approacing!!!
After the rule suggestions made in the last thread, anyone have any to add? Now is the time to do so. I think DA said he would change the detective role to TitanAura's suggestion of limiting the detective to using his/her powers every other turn but not holding them to an allegance to any party. In my opinion the debt collector role will need overhauling in the future. Due to rarely having the 30 people needed to actually use this role, it has not had much real-game experience. After the last round with Zairak, DA said he believed that the role was overpowered and I agreed, suggesting to limit the ability to use the role to twice per week. However, this may have underpowered the role and through further attempts not to make it useless after it's 2nd use, needlessly complicated it (basically turning the debt collector into a living ghost). However, this role was barely used at all last round and I think it should be trial tested as is with an active debt collector the coming round. Town Fanatic... almost useless now since everyone is like "OMGZ I TRAD U MI INFOZ 4 URS!" I think the town fanatic should start the game knowing ALL of the roles (with the exception of L and Kira). Anyway, I may add to this later. I'm sure this was discussed on the now-spammed-locked previous thread. |

Well, the town fanatic rule was changed in cw because it didn't feel right that he knew everyone's roles right off after the town's been made. I suggested that he have half at the start and learn like one or two every turn or something like that.
However, people here appear to enjoy just telling each other everything. |

Thank goodness, new thread...
nsw for HOS for telling people that he was L. Seriously, don't do that. This game is a complicated version of mafia. If you tell anyone your role, as Kira or L, you're screwed. For serious. |

Yeah, but I thought the town was voting for you that round. Then again, I had a bit of trouble keeping track of things last round for some reason...

You would have lost if he didn't kill himself, you do realize that.
You do realize that you didn't do any good as L. You won because he let you win, not out of your own skill. Winning isn't everything. It's how you win. @Zairak: yamiangie managed to protect him in the last 2 seconds of the turn. |
