How to Embed YouTube videos.
In case you are wondering how to embed videos from youtube, here is a guide on how to do it. There is two options: Normal, and widescreen.
Normal Let's say I wanna embed this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoSEcofsOdQ You take the sequence after the equal sign and put it in between the following: [youtube]_[/*youtube] Kay, so see the underscore? Replace that with the sequence after the equal sign, and remove the asterisk. (*) What do you get? This: Pretty sweet, huh? Yep, you just embeded a YouTube video. Now, let's try embedding a widescreen video. Widescreen Oops! We have those black bars at the bottom and top of the video! Now how to we fix it so it doesn't have those black bars, you ask? Simple. Add a "w" in the end of each youtube part. Doesn't make sense? How about I show you: [youtubew]_[/*youtubew] Now just like before, remove the asterisk, and replace the underscore with the sequence after the equal sign. The end result: NOTE: LOOK AT THE EMBEDDED CODE ON THE VIDEO BEFORE EMBEDDING! Some people don't want others to embed their video on another website. It's easy to spot this, because in the Embedded part of the youtube page (Underneath the link), it will say "Embedding Disabled by Request". That means you can't embed the video. Watch out for that symbol. If you don't see it, and you see a long code like this:  That means the video is OK to embed. Enjoy. Last edited by eternity; 11-08-2011 at 06:01 PM.
