This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

Just got back from IMAX Speed Racer. And have to say I was MORE impressed by this movie then even IronMan, Ironman was the better movie of course, but from what hopes I had to where it was coming from, I already thought that Ironman would be good, while I had doubts in SPeed Racer, but they were almost shattered. The races were amazing, the acting, especially since most was supposed to be corny as a remark to the series, it was quite goodf. It was hilarious with all the scenes with SPritle in it, their over dramatizing of their anime scenes they showed was funny, and then of course the visuals were amazing, and aside from maybe the first race being light filled blurs, the rest of it didn't really over power it and was just pretty. The few fights they had were well done and the way they did the back story telling was actually entertaining.

And above all else, Christina Richie was hot

I'm surprised you survived the IMAX version, the normal version was kinda bloated with all the CGI.
Spritle and Chim Chim were hilarious.
And at Speed's home, by the TV, there was Akira manga in the background.
But yeah, mind-blowing visuals and races there.

It was pretty decent. Definitely worth a trip to the theatre.

Haha, I just saw it today and I absolutely loved it. It was so awesome and corny but so awesome.
I'm totally ready to see the IMAX version of it! =D

it was a surprisingly awesome film (although they butchered the theme music).
