and I like Gladiator quite a bit, 3:10 sucked ass. |

Tru dat. When I was in my high school marching band, we performed a series of songs from Gladiator. Judges had tears in their eyes. TT___TT <--- just like that.

That's pretty awesome, I think Gladiator as a whole uses music very well. i mean the scene after he dies in the corn field would be no where near as emotional without that music. I should really buy the OST.

I didn't, just because I like a movie more doesn't mean it's better then. I like Gladiator more, but I think 3:10 to Yuma was a better movie, music aside.

i remember the complaints made about POTC becasue the music was also done by hans zimmer and sounded similar POTC- Pirates Of The Carribean |

I guess i can see the similarities but they are different enough to seperate. He isn't the greatest film score composer out there, that would probably go to Clint Mansell or Michael Nyman for me but he does produce impressive music even if it lacks some degree of variation.
