This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

So I was thinking, we can get our own shirts by using printable iron-on patterns, and there's other do-it-yourself things like that (pin-makers, shrinky-dinks, etc.)
So, since there's so many awesome/random shirt ideas being thrown around, I thought it'd be a good idea to put up images that we can all use (I think it's much more interesting to have an image, even a simple one, than just text).
I'll start with a picture I vectorized myself, outlining a screenshot of Kaiba (in fact, for authenticity, it's from the first series, when he really had green hair). It can work with either an outline or silhouette of his body and head:

And of course, here's the EPS vector version, which you can resize to whatever you want, as well as add text and/or other effects:
http://www.geocities.com/indoauthorx/greenhair.eps
And just in case you can't use vector graphics, a (somewhat) high-res version of the silhouette:

Oh yeah, and if it isn't completely and totally obvious, the intended catchphrase is "Screw the rules, I have green hair!"

Of course, the hair can be recoloured to make a decent Kaiba outline for any other Kaiba-ism you like, like a more interesting "Screw the rules, I have money!" or "Screw the rules, I'm in love with Nurse Joy!"
Okay, so i can't think of anything he says besides screwing the rules except maybe the classic, "You don't stand a ghost of a chance!"

I also intend to do Bandit Keith, with the flag bandana intact, but that's quite a bit more complex, so if someone with more skill wants to tackle it, by all means go ahead.

Thanks :)
I decided to do an actual shirt design mockup or three:

(the thumbnail's messed up because of the transparencey, btw)

lol, should have one with "I Play Card Games" or something like "You'll Never Beat Me At A Children's Card Game!"

It didn't turn out quite the way I wanted (this pose wasn't very recognizable in outline alone, and then it lost the simplicity when I added more stuff) but after playing around with it I got something I like. I'll have to try and find a better post later (or maybe just do that one with the sunglasses on).

I'm definitely going to have to try to do one for "Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him... in America."

And, because Kaiba needs more love and Diet asked for some, here are some brown-haired Kaiba mockups. Remember, though, the whole reason I'm putting up vector files because anyone with a program that can import them can add text, resize it, and basically do whatever you want, so feel free to do so (I just happen to find it fun playing around with the text and layout).

Also, if anyone else wants the vectors for this one (there's some stuff that I just blacked out for the above version), I'll need to find a different host or smaller way to save these than EPS, because they're a lot bigger than the stuff I usually host on geocities and I ran out of my remaining space quickly.

Well, if you mean we're not gonna get sued for printing iron-on T-shirts to wear, of course not. It's not like you're selling them or anything, it's just like printing out a picture of a character to put on your wall. Who's going to stop you, and why?

If you mean it should be okay to sell shirts with these because it's just an outline, then no, because it's still an outline of a copyrighted character, and I even used screenshots of the anime.

It's true, if you were making a profit by using the YGO character images troubles might ensue, but if you're doing it for your own enjoyment it's the same as taping your favorite TV show.

EXCEPT THAT IT'S NOT.
Look it up better. By which I mean at all.

It's been officially legal in the US for over 30 years. Stupid argument that I'm tired of seeing, expressed in stupid style (ALCAPS) which everyone is tired of seeing.

And I believe it's different recording the actual content vs using a character image, but not significantly. Either way, if you're not making any money or preventing them from making money, they have little to no reason to enforce the copyright (unlike trademarks, which can be lost if not enforced).

Plus just look at the stuff Tshirthell pulls with it's shirts. They use characters (like Patrick Star) in their shirts. I'm not going to provide a link, cause I don't know how old some of kids are.
