This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer finally came out! I loved it! Though at one point it did kinda seem to drag on... but the souls are just so cool! Who else has read it? And if you've read Meyer's other series, the Twilight series, which do you think is better?

Personally, I couldn't choose. I don't think I could choose between Edward and Melanie. They're both awesome.

Haha. I'm gonna be the first person 2 reply after 6 months! lol. But I loved The Host! It's better then New Moon and Breaking Dawn, but Twilight is slightly better and it ties with Eclipse. I am offcially in love with Ian though. lol.

I think the plot of The Host is a lot better than Twilight's. But Twilight has Edward.

If The Host had Edward, it would be the world's most perfect book.

Ian is almost a perfect substitute. I love him, too.

I don't really like Jared (I think that's his name ...I forget) though. I did at the beggining, but later he just got on my nerves. <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley5.png'>

I want to read this so bad.

I enjoyed Twilight, but... eh, it's a teenage girls' wet dream sometimes, lol. The fandom doesn't help that reputation either...

So with Meyer's compelling style plus a more mature subject in general, I think I'd like this more.

Like I said, the plot of The Host is more interesting than Twilight's... even though Twilight has Edward. (Yes, I know I am obsessed.)

I like Edward in Twilight, but for almost all the reasons why people hate him, lol.

I like him because he's creepy. It makes me laugh how creepy he is (yet he is gorgeous, not gonna lie).
I did get tired of him by Eclipse though. Jacob got more interesting at that point. :3

I like him because I'm one of the hugest YYH/Kurama fangirls ever, and I think Kurama and Edward are so similar it's insane.

Which makes things pretty confusing in the YuYu Hakusho-Twilight crossover I'm planning, but whatever.

Jacob? Didn't notice him in Twilight, liked him in New Moon, hated him in Eclispe, and still hated him but then liked him again in Breaking Dawn. He was annoying at first, but after a while he redeemed himself.
