This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and Gon's Balls will whisper 'First... comes... rock!' Hah! Made you stare at Naruto's Marshmallow! Pushing the logo off-center to drive TheOcean insane.

I've heard people saying it was good. Where can I watch it?

I've seen up to episode 22 and it it worth watching. Some people like how it revolves different games, instead of just Duel Monsters all the time. Others also prefer that part of the manga before Duelist Kingdom came along. From what I've seen, it is pretty interesting, but I prefer the Duel Monster series over this.

Well, there are fansubs of it on YouTube. They go up to episode 22 and there are five other episodes left unsubbed. There is also a movie for this series and I think it was done very well. It was more interesting than a few of the later episodes that I was watching at the time.

*Should* is a moral value I won't add to anime. It's worth watching, yeah.

The movie is also very good, with an interesting character that SHOULD have made it into GX... I guess Toei owns the right to him, though.

Well I watched the first two episodes and it's pretty okay. I just hope the introduction of Duel Monsters doesn't fuck it up.

Anyone should absolutly watch the Yu-Gi-Oh show (and know it pretty well) before watching the abridged series.

Yeah, it's ok. The characters are great, the plot...not so much.

but it could be one of those shows you watch just to make fun of it becuase it's ridiculous. *shrugs* but That's only my opinion, you should judge it for yourself.

You mean Season 0?
That's what drew me in the manga. It's just some random shit happening, but it was cool. Then the card games were introduced the everything went downnnnnnn ;______________;

If you are talking about the first ever Yugioh series, the one where Yugi is played by a girl and bakura's played by a guy and animation looks crazy, i don't know if there are any fansubs of it, and the mnaga has a better plot of it anyway. If you are talking about the japanese version of what 4 kids did, I'd say hell yeah.

TV-Nihon made fansubs, although they're of poor quality. They can be found on YouTube (and I have them on my computer too), but they have yet to finish the series.

The animation quality is the big issue, it looks like they made the whole thing for a hundred dollars. But the voice acting and writing overall is pretty good.

I liked it. A lot of the random games are way different from the manga ones. I love how sometimes they took the manga storyline and added an extra twist to it, like in the virtual pet episode... Anyway, it's good stuff.

I think it's definitely worth a try. Yami is really witty and seems to rule at pretty much every game in existance, and a lot of the games are amusing (they even try out yo-yos <img src='/images/emoticons/smiley2.png'> ). It's considerably darker than normal YGO but that's partly why I like it.

Yeah, he totally rules at everything he does, and does some pretty cool stuff to his opponents. And when I say that, I mean he practically kicks their asses and makes sure that they stay down.

I really liked it. I mean, the animation... frankly sucks but I adore the whole idea of it. Sure, the manga was better, but I loved the characters (I even like Anzu!) in season 0.
And the fact that Yami is "evil" (for lack of a better word) is really interesting.
I like darker things though, if you don't then perhaps season 0 isn't for you?

Oh and I loved Yugi/Yami's voice, even if it was a girl, she did a great job-- just how I imagined while reading the manga.
