Love the first film. Had amazing music and more tear filled moments than Old Yeller. The other 30 Land Before Time movies sucked though.

agreed, the first sequal was ok but the music is what killed everthing, why change it from a cute sweet, heart warming emotional film, to a shitty musical

My fondest memory of The Land Before Time would have to be the scene where Little Foot's Mom died. I broke out into tears when I saw this as a kid.

I thought the first one was okay, even if it was a somewhat typical "kick the main character in the balls as often as possible" Don Bluth film. The Diana Ross song at the end is one of the only tunes by her that I really like.

Fuck the sequels.

LOVED the first film, its an epic classic :D
The sequels sucked, they went on and on and did he ever end up being reunited with his mother or just his grandparents?? :D

There were 13 movies in the entire franchise.

Thankfully, the franchise was cancelled a couple of years back.

YESSS! Land Before Time was one of my movie obsessions that I literally watched EVERY DAY as a young kid (along with the Great Mouse Detective, haha). I remember it was a long time before any sequels were made at all, and that none of them nearly matched the original, even though I do remember enjoying one or two sequels. I stopped watching at number VI though.
